Where did I say the allegations had anything to do with the current coaching staff? That's never significant to the NCAA. You rarely see the NCAA impose sanctions on schools at the time of the violations; it doesn't happen. The future members of the program are the ones who suffer from the past actions of coaches. That's just the way it works.
Miami's dealing with Luther Campbell and Nevin Shapiro are why people point fingers at Miami. The current state of the program may be one of roses and rainbows, but that doesn't change the perception of the program. That's why people point fingers at Miami, their history is tainted.
Envy the past, Fear the future

Dont bring up negative history and then blast Cane fans for bringing up the "glory days". It would be like saying FSU is 50% learning disabled, which according to a ESPN report, confirmed by an FSU tutor was true. So you admit that your team cant spell their names(except Myron Rolle) and then you can call us cheaters.
And for the record, they already threw out the 10,000$ payment to Dequan Jones. Like we said dude made a lot of people look stupid.

Oh, my friend, that's where you're wrong. If you truly think that what went down in Miami is just "something negative that took place in the past" and that it's not going to have an impact on your "great leader's . . . vision for the future" you're more of a Cane fan than I thought. Ya'll are not known for your mental acuity.

It's FSU fans like you that make the rest look bad. Questioning a man's character without even knowing him shows just how much intelligence you have. Golden is a self made man built Temple from nothing. There are 10 guys in the NFL from Temple......that's right Temple. Who recruited them and even made a first rounder out of Wilkerson that's right Al Golden. He did not have to ride the coat tails of Saban to make a name for himself or even get a legend like Bowden fired. Before you go and questioning Al take a good look at Jimbo.

You have a board where people will listen to this crap you spew. Go there and brag about walk on studs, not getting hammered by ncaa, and all the other fantasy topics y'all talk about to avoid coming to term with how bad it really is. There is a magical place where all this nonsense is accepted and cheered. It's called your home board. Go there and play with all the other hurrishame fans, they take you seriously there. Not here though, although we do like to laugh at y'all, and you give us plenty of ammo. I think its time you head back and make 5 or 6 threads about us on your board.

Its healthy banter between rivals. I see a struck a cord. I was not profane or disrespectful whatsoever. I guess when there is nothing else to be said anger starts to show. I will let you be as i see you have been disturbed in some manner. Noles are always welcome to come over and give insightful comments. Its people like you that make it the ugly thing it becomes. Enjoy living in your fairytale world where if someone says something that you do not agree with you just try and get rid of them. Being open minded makes you grow as a person. With a name like coachTnole I thought maybe you were a little more mature. You know what they say about assuming........

Rich very rich, act like you have done nothing wrong. three post above you are making snide remarks about an FSU posters intelligence. Then you proceed to bash our coach, and demean his accomplishments. Banter is fine and im all for it. But since y'all have nothing really to talk about on your board, so you come over here and troll.

I will leave after this comment. Everyone must think before they speak if you are misinformed and get set straightened out well then so be it. Nothing I said about Jimbo was incorrect. He was made popular for the great coordinator he was under Saban then went to FSU waited around which is common knowledge for Bowden to step down except that's not how it went down. If you are telling me that Jimbo had no say as to get Bowden out then I will take you for your word but it's hard to believe he didn't. As a head coach he has severely underachieved just like Randy Shannon did and so he will share the same fate. In order to demean someone they have to accomplish something. Jimbo has not accomplished anything except win ACC Championships while the conference has been down. Enough said. Good day sir.

Exactly, thank you for proving my point. Like I said, no one is perfect. You can point fingers at us too. Don't be surprised when FSU fans point to Miami's shady history. As for the intelligence of student athletes, lets just say that the majority of players at every school would't be there without football talent.
Jones' case may have been thrown out, but the others haven't. Haith is being hit with everything the NCAA can possibly hit him with. Call Shapiro a liar if you want, but the found enough evidence to hit Haith with the worst punishments then can. Clearly hevwasnt lying. Jones' benefited from a lack of evidence, not innocence.
