who is checking in hourly hoping for a coaching hire/update?
I have heard lots of names and rumors but I can't wait to see who we get. Say what you want about Jimbo but the one thing he has done extremely well is hire assistants. With the exception of Hudson, its hard to argue about any of his other hires.

I've had 247 on a tab all day, refreshing every little while, hoping for ANYTHING.
It makes me think we may have another coach from the Bama staff in mind, given that you would think the urgency to get people hired before the most important recruiting weekend of the year gets here.
I don't know though. Being so far removed (Canada), I don't hear anything that you fine folks don't post here first. If I'm not here, I know nothing.

I have read in other posts that people think we are looking at Bama's RB coach but why would he take a lateral position to come here?

I thought I read it here. It was just an assumption. No facts behind it. Timing-wise it makes sense because they haven't finished their season but other than that it doesn't because of the lateral move.

Good question, but we do have an Associate HC title free after Gran left and an Asst HC title left if/when Hudson leaves. Those titles may be the difference - take that back - just checked and both Burns and Thompson have Assoc and Asst HC titles respectively. Yeah I have no idea.

Perhaps the hire(s) are complete, but the announcements are being delayed for one reason or another - as has happened already. If nothing else gets stretched during the Jimbo era, patience will certainly be so.

The guys (Josh, Chris, Tom) have been pretty quiet on this subject. Guessing they know something but just cant put it out there at this point.
