  • NovaNoles, why is he banned and why does he continually talk smack about FSU? I get it that humor and sarcasm are part of these boards but good lord that guy is the pits.

    A Nova is a fairly nasty little nuclear explosion on a dwarf star scale. In my best Bill Murray "Stripes" voice: "Blowed UP Sir!"

    Seeing as this is the case, and assuming NoveNoles has more than a rudimentary reading level and interest in the world education, I submit the following reasonings for your review.

    1. He understands what Nova means and wants the noles to explode back into elite status on a national scene.

    2. He somewhat understands what Nova means and wants the noles to just explode back into the stone age.

    3. He doesn't understand what Nova means but thinks he does, and considers himself a star. To that I would say fail.

    I'll spread some up votes around for this thread, just 'cause, I think he's a stinkbutt in the most pejorative sense.

    Absolutely don't think he is a terrible person either, I can't judge someone I don't know. I guess it's just in some folks to act like the E-Trade baby when they're behind a keyboard. Thanks for that insight Corey.

    I banter with him from time to time, but really just read and laugh, that is all you can really do, he isn't going to change his style....

  • Nova's alright IMo. I'm with Ocho, I laugh at people getting riled up at his trolls. Some people don't. To each their own on the interwebz. He certainly didn't function well on this site which is why we have tBB. BTW nova is short for North. VA.

    I was referring to his trolling other posters on tBB. Should he call out these "kids" in his posts? No. Should R Black get death threats online for that awful song "Friday"? No. The web is what it is. Look around it and you'll see a lot more pathetic things than a 24/7 sports poster. Ignoring him is a smart move on your part.
