A bet with a Gator

I have a newly acquired Gator buddy through my girlfriend and his wife being good friends. We've had a few football conversations and he's always seemed to be pretty level headed. Anyway, we made a bet on who would wind up with the best class across the 4 major scouting services. Loser has to buy a round of golf at El Diablo and all the beer. In your opinion, should I leave my money on the dresser?
Also, for shits and giggles...he thinks 8 of our players flip. Most of them flipping to UF.

Uf will sign a bigger class which may move them up past us in a few recruiting rankings. The better bet IMO would be that under 6 of our players flip to uf. That would be guaranteed money. But we have a chance to finish strong so I think you are safe either way.

I don't know exactly what you mean about leaving the money on the dresser. I don't know if he or your girlfriend would appreciate that much if it's what I think it means.
Anyway, I would take that bet.

Could add the stipulation about only counting the top uf commits up to the number of kids that FSU signs. Really the only reason FSU won't have the top class is because we aren't signing a full class this year. Even without that stipulation I think you should win the bet.

Just say that the winner is the class with the highest average stars (not including kickers) and you will easily win. This will take away the advantage of UF signing a bigger class.

Uhm I'm not sure what players your friend is talking about... I don't see any of your recruits flipping to us.
As far as who will have a better class (according to the sites) it's going to be reaaaaally close FSU and UF can finish real strong or one could finish strong and the other could fizzle out.
Whoever does finish on top, the other team will be right behind that one (Ex.> 2. FSU 3. UF)
