From the interview it certainly seems as though he's leaning our way. Tough to say for sure though.

Meh. Stop blowing things out of proportion. I coach football and its not a violation if I tell a kid he should go to Miami. High school coaches do it everyday. Dude maybe should word it better but he's not AG's right hand man illegally recruiting kids.

From my understanding of the NCAA rules telling kids that you coach to go to Miami is actually a violation but I doubt it is one that the NCAA would look closely at. However that is not what was said. What was said was that he coached HS kids and did recruiting for UM coaches.

If he's associated with the University whatsoever (fan, ticket holder, booster etc.), it is a violation and it can effect the players eligibility. It's also poor practice to push your beliefs on recruits. Guide them through the process, let them make their own decision without bias. He's the definition of a poor coach and mentor.

Doesn't bother me any. I'm not a um fan. Just commenting on the overall absurdity of having a persecution complex, a staple of your fanbase, while spouting off and touting your importance to your school's football recruiting.

Glad the NCAA compliance department showed up and no it's not. As HS coaches part of your job is to help kids get into college and choose the one the thats best for them as most of them look at you like a father figure type. Dude is not associated with the university though, I agree though he chose poor wording. Call yahoo! If you want.

If kids are swayed by some 40 year old Pop Warner coach,IMO they will not make it long in college anyways.
