  • I want to agree with you about FSU, but we stunk on the road this year and Clemson will be better next fall. I hope you are right though. JMO, but I think OU is trending down. They lost games this year they don't lose and I feel that they might take a step back next year. Aren't they replacing their QB?

    6. Bama- LSU and UF will both take a step back in the SEC. Texas A&M will be top 15 but they lose alot of key guys and their D will not be nearly as good as Bama's
    7. Ohio St.- product of weak conference

  • Wow lots of CU confidence. Clemson will NOT be the dynamic offense from the past 2 years. They lost a ton of elite skill position players. Oh and there is that shitty defense with an even shittier DLine.

    I think FSU wins the ACC again, probably because I'm homerific.

  • Clemson's defense will be better. They return Boyd and Watkins. RB's are not hard to replace.

  • Sammy needs to stay eligible and healthy. He didn't this year.

    Uf is going to struggle as their D will be weaker and that offense won't be much better. No wr's!

    You know, you may be right. UGA should take a small step back and I'm not too sure what USC is made of.

    I think this might be the year that the SEC just has 1 super power (Bama).
    My thoughts on the SEC
    West
    Bama - Wins SEC possibly MNC 10-12 wins
    Miss - Will battle for 2nd in SEC West 8-10 wins
    A&M - loses a ton (LT,C,WR,WR,WR, DE,DT,LB,LB,SS,FS). Johny Football will have soph slump.8/9 wins
    LSU - Lost a ridiculous amount off their defense and their offense will continue to suck. 8/9 wins
    MSU - mediocre talent. 7/8 wins
    Ark - won't be good for a couple of years. 4-6 wins
    Aub - will suck again. 3-5 wins
    East
    USC - Clowney is a beast, Ace Sanders will breakout. 9/10 wins
    UF - They lost a ton on defense and are very weak up the middle, still no WR but O will improve. They were very fortunate to get 11 wins in 2012. 9/10 wins
    UGA - Loses a ton on Defense, Offense will be very good. 9/10 wins
    Van - Will be decent with another year under Franklin. 7/8 wins
    UK - Stoops starts the turn around. 5/6 wins
    Mizz - Not talented enough or well enough coached to compete 4/5 wins
    UT - What talent they had left for the NFL. 4/5 wins

    Clemson's 2nd team rb is not nearly as good as ellington. Boyd has one weapon. Watson. We return many more pieces than Clemson.

    I suspect Jimbo will pare down the playbook b/c of a new qb which will help FSU and our defensive scheme this year will be better against Clemson.

  • No idea why people are so confident in Clemson... Yes Boyd returned, yes Watkins is back, but WHO else? Freeman (OC) GONE; Hopkins (best WR in the ACC, and top 5 in the country) GONE; Ellington (very good) GONE. Their OL is average, their Defense was terrible...

  • Still think we win the ACC. We learned how to this year and now it's going to become a habit rather than the exception. Not sure how the rest of the nation shakes out.
