2012 schedule released

  • Name one team on your schedule that has been relevant in the past 10 years.. I'll get the obvious one out of the way.. UF..

    Gatorfank8201

  • Acc isn't a weak conference its still adjusting and balancing out, FSU, MIAMI, VT, CLEMSON will be the front runners and gators better be scared when Miami and fsu are both on the A game.

Strength of schedule= weak.. But it's a basketball conference so what do you expect.. Minus Clemson, Vtech and The University of Florida.. It looks like a D2 schedule..

And we will still beat you and make it 3 in a row.

It didn't stop us from dominating you and the rest of the NCAA from 1987-2001.

I don't about all that. You could've dominated the turds, but idk about everyone else.

Hmm 10 years ago Miami was 11-2 and believe beat your gayturds in the orange bowl, so you gotta go forward a bit.

Yeah that's because our strength lies in our conference schedule.. I could go over all of them but it would take too long.. The past 6 national champions ring a bell? And We just added Missouri and A&M... Come join the big boys..

Tough to join the big boys when your admins are scared shitless. They will not vote us in because we're already competitve with you when there is an economic advantage for the turds. Just think how badly we'd be kicking your ass if your school grew a sack and let us in and we played on with an even playing field...

VT and UF. Clemson and at NCSt are considered quality wins.

  • What a joke... When you look at that schedule you know exactly why FSU would never even think of joining the SEC..

If you want to stay here, you need to be able to do more than be offensive. This isn't hogtown.

Uh...UF is the reason we aren't in the SEC. They are way too scared to deal with an FSU program that would be afforded the resources provided by the SEC. FSU is actually at a disadvantage.

Nope.. That will happen when you join a conference that makes moves toward improving Football.. Not basketball..

Oh no...The Almighty Gator is here!!!

Why don'tyou je3rkoffs play a Thursday night road game? Or, a road game more than, 500 miles from hogtown, or a road game with the temp less than 70 degrees, or an out ooc opponenet you haven't been playing for the last 50 years? How about having our offcials?
LSU broke the mold with their schedule this past season. You pu$$ies tilt everything in your favor b/c well.....you're a bunch of pu$$ies and always have been. As a progarm we accomplished twice as much as UF in half the time. You're the ones who were forced to play catch up after being inferior for 1 and half decades. Shut your pie hole!

  • Well on a lighter side and more pertaining to the schedule I cant wait till October lol and im not gonna start a frenzy here but it would be nice to see yall twice this year, come on you all would love the fact we could play twice this year talk about stirring espns pot and taking away limelight from SEC thats one way to do it, FSU UM Championship game here we go, now I wish I could say for sure we would play after that but its up in the air for now, I'd like to think so.

Your optimism should be commended but there is no freaking way you make it to the ACCCG.

  • We want to join the SEC...but UF, Bama, UGA, and Auburn are scared. FSU comes to the SEC and they lose every recruiting advantage they ever had.

If you don't know, then why would you question my statement? It would only take a little research to validate it.

    From 1987-2001:

Officially labeled, "Team of the decade (90s)"

Most wins nationally during the 1990s (109)

Officially labeled as a "Dynasty" (scroll halfway down: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynasty_%28sports%29)

Most wins of any program during that 14-year period (152)

Highest winning percentage in the nation during those 14 year (89%)

152–19–1 record (11 of their 19 losses were decided by seven points or less)

14 consecutive 10 or more win seasons

14 consecutive top-5 finishes (NCAA record)

    14 bowl bids

12 present day BSC bowl appearances

11 bowl wins (9 of which were present day BCS bowls)

9 ACC championships (in 9 years)

    2 Heisman Trophy winners

    5 national championship appearances

2 national championships (1999- first college football team in history to go wire-to-wire)

20 1st round NFL draft picks

    11-4-1 against UF

7-7 versus Miami (who was put on severe sanctions for cheating)

Do I need to keep going?

  • Conference strength is irrelevant. USC didn't need a strong PAC 10, Texas didn't need a strong BIG 12 and OSU didn't need a strong BIG 10. If you win the most games you play for championships, unless of course you are BSU.

To the cocky uf fans, all you have to hang your hat on is your conference. We can't help that we play in a basketball conference. What we can do is schedule uf and um every year, we can bring in teams like OU and go play Bama in Jacksonville to get quality opponents. uf just hopes Bama or LSU are good enough to justify playing teams I've never heard of for their OOC games. Keep living off your conference while we try to dominate ours.

  • Love the schedule.

Sets up nicely heading into Blacksburg for the Thursday Night tilt against the Hokies.

9 of 12 Games being played in the State of Florida = WIN.
