This may be old news, but on CSS yesterday they stated that the current players under investigation could be granted some type of eligibility exception if the NCAA deems the best way to get truthful information regarding the accused players is to allow them to play if they tell of their involvement in the case. Seems like something that would be great for the players, maybe not so great for the University depending on what they tell?

Whats funny is how cane fans are spinning this. Some of my cane fans have said "this shows how little evidence the NCAA has if they have to go to this measure." I think its more indicative that they are going for the juggular and want everything. Or their fully investigating this like they should. At the end of the day, i believe Miami wont get the death penalty but will get crushed with sanctions. These 12 players that most likely will be suspended will probably be inactive for a good portion of the season. Cane fans focus on the Cam Newton thing, but forgot about what happened with UNC
