Za'Darius Smith made an interesting comment after FSU's win over Miami.

Florida State went into south Florida and defeated Miami 33 - 20 on Saturday night. Noles247 reached out to recruits to get their thoughts on the big win for the Seminoles.

Hard to say. I still think FSU is just behind Mississippi State at this point, but we'll see what happens when he officially visits.

I haven't watched Smith, I'm never very high on JUCO guys, but is he a guy like Carradine who was the real deal, or realistically, will he need a season to acclimate himself to real college football?

I think he is a better player right now than Carradine was at this stage in his career. Tank has gotten a great deal better since getting on campus and working with Coach Eliot.

The word is he is the real deal and has been having a terrific season...

35 tackles, 6 sacks, 4 forced fumbles and 1 interception.
He is having a terrific season.

Stat wise Carradine put up better sack numbers than Smith in JUCO. Even though that isn't the end all when assessing DE's I was wondering was their a difference in the respective competition levels at their JUCO's?
