Practice quick hitters - 10/2

I don't like substituting whispering for speakers. The game on Saturday isn't going to be played in a library. It's going to be played in front of 60 thousand screaming fans. The energy isn't comparable. Get used to the volume.

I understand where you are coming from, but I would also disagree with you in some aspect. One being that this is only the second practice of the week so they probably want to clean up what they missed last Saturday's game and prepare for the new offense and defense they will face this upcoming Saturday. Secondly, this is only the second practice of the week. You don't necessarily want to have them jump into the water without knowing how deep it is. Coach Fisher knows what he is doing when he starts by whispering to ease into the situation and then when he starts up the speaker drills tomorrow, they will get a feel for it while having majority of the days left until the game this weekend.
