Thomas, a 5-star linebacker from Miami, said FSU 'looked real good' and they 'play till the whistle'.

Matthew Thomas was on-hand to watch Florida State on Saturday night. The 'Noles defeated USF 30-17, read on for Thomas' reaction seeing FSU for the first time this year.

Josh, think he waits until NSD as stated, or is he likely to pull the trigger sooner? Also I assume 'Bama is after him hard like we are...??

Thomas will probably start here next year.
He should be the #1 target for FSU. HUGE NEED

damn...so the only times he saw FSU lately is when our defense has been shaky. USF game and ONLY the 1st half of Clemson...damn...so he didn't see us lock it down.

Our defense was not shaky against USF.

I wouldn't call it shaky. The defense allowed 268 yards and 10 points (STs allowed the other TD, imo). They held USF to an 11 and 18 yard quarter, I believe.

Keep in mind one of USF tds is when they blocked a punt and started inside our 10. A very very difficult situation for any defense. Held a good offense to under 300 yards and forced 3 turnovers. The game wasnt aesthetically pleasing but there was alot that recruits liked

Shaky? two drives in the red zone. the first td was b/c of a blocked punt. The last td was b/c the defense let up b/c the game was over.

Thomas and Kirkland are two impact players, I look for it to be a battle between Miami and FSU for Thomas, Kirkland is a Cane.

I would only be surprised if Thomas picked FSU because the one dude that doesnt ever have bad info(not naming) said he will pick Miami. I would definitely think he would pick FSU if not for the all knowing to tell me different.

I thought Thomas was picking FSU until I heard that his Mother prefers him to stay home and go to UM.
