Letter to The Osceola members
For nearly 30 years, The Osceola has been a pioneer in college team coverage, building one of the largest brands to cover Florida State University athletics. During that time, we have built one of the largest team publications in the country, the largest FSU team website and a thriving community with thousands of subscribers.
Since 1982, we have maintained a commitment to:
1. Provide Florida State fans the most up-to-date news and expert analysis
2. Take Seminole fans inside the locker room with in-depth features about FSU players, coaches and administrators
3. Capture stunning images from Seminole events
4. Give users the most in-depth recruiting coverage
5. And for the past nine years, help maintain the most vibrant Florida State sports message board community on the Internet.
The Osceola has grown into one of the most innovative and diverse media brands covering Florida State athletics.
We’ve been a member of the Rivals.com network for much of our existence online, and we now continue this journey with a new partner – 247Sports. While our network partner is changing, our commitment to be the best Florida State team site is not – not now, and not ever.
Starting on April 1, we will leave Rivals.com to become the official Florida State partner of the 247Sports network.
It is important to note that The Osceola is completely honoring your online membership/subscription term.
Our team remains committed to bringing you everything you crave about your team – and to making The Osceola even better.
We are now in a position to give you more – more breaking news, more updates, more analysis, more message board interaction and more advanced product features.
247Sports is the fastest growing team site network on the Internet. Its founders are committed to being the No. 1 network, through partnerships with the best team sites and innovative technology and product development enhancements.
Check out the amazing 247Sports message board technology and our new mobile platform. And that’s only the beginning.
TheOsceola.com will thrive in this new environment and provide Florida State fans with the best service possible.
Your support of The Osceola – and TheOsceola.com – means a great deal to us. You have our commitment that we will continue to provide the very best Seminoles team and recruiting coverage.
We need your help in preserving years of the best FSU site on the Internet, which you can do by spreading the word that The Osceola has moved to 247Sports. Tell your friends, scream it from the rooftops and help keep your online community together.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me directly.
