Live stream of Monday's press conference with Jimbo Fisher and EJ Manuel as the Seminoles prepare for South Florida.
Via Tim Linafelt:
We need to learn how to respond from a win of significance and come back with a great week of preparation.
Via Tom Liscio:
Jimbo opens with talking about overcoming adversity and overcoming sloppy plays to comeback against a tough Clemson Team. He looks forward to a USF team that is big and talented and lots of talented backs in the special teams.
Via Tim Linafelt:
Success against defense has given running game confidence.
Also was asked about success against Notre dame, which it turns out has a pretty good defense.
Fisher felt in spring he could tell that this team has a great ability to run the ball.
Menelik is hungry, has a lot of ability. Developing himself into a very good player.
I asked about Chris Casher --
Jimbo said he tweaked his knee in warmups and has some cartilage that will need cleaned up. He is likely to redshirt.
"Be quick, but don't hurry." Jimbo says and says this is involved with life as well as football.
Look for the blocks and see what opens up, don't rush and force things. Great insight
Jimbo talks about Hopkins missing two field goals and just says he kicked it off the wrong place in his foot. Compares it to golfing, "some guys go out and shoot a 60 one day and a 74 the next. Some people hit it the right way from 8 feet and miss it from two and those are just the tweaks that need to be made."
Jimbo said earlier that he wouldn't change what Manuel did on Saturday, but today he would say that he would change some options with the run and some of the passing miscues.
James Wilder Jr. was highly recruited as a running back but FSU has believed since day one that they could make him one of the best running backs in the country.
When asked about how to handle the talk of not only the ACC championship, but also the BCS National championship Jimbo said, "Just tell them to ignore the hype, ignore it. We cant take any points from last week into next week and we're going to have to go out week by week and win to become National champions."
Jimbo says that EJ is becoming more mature in letting plays develop and seeing receivers
"Nick Moody was phenomenal on special teams ... He was like a machine."
The backs and receivers get a lot of credit, along with the offensive line.
The special teams and defense made a couple of penalties that could've cost them the game, but with Joyner's return to set up a touchdown and a team that could fight back help win the game.
Jimbo learned more last game about his defense than he did in the first three games. Coach Stoops did a great job and the defense played hard and helped win the game.
On EJ's Heisman potential:
"The Heisman is a popularity contest: do you want a show dog or a hunting dog?"
"The Heisman is a popularity contest now-a-days. Are you going to be a show dog or a hunting dog (talking about EJ and recent talk about putting him in the Heisman conversation)? We're not going to parade him around like a show dog. But I'd hunt with him."
Bjoern played a really good game, according to Jimbo. Didn't have huge numbers but was alway in position to make plays.
EJ: "We were able to show the nation what kind of team we were"
Menelik Watson was given credit to taking the reigns of the offense line and doing extremely well after playing only 2 games.

EJ said he and his dad went to IHOP and went home. Said his dad stayed up til 6:30 am seeking out highlights.
EJ on BJ Daniels:
"He's a great quarterback, very athletic, can throw the ball a mile."
EJ say they remember the USF loss "vividly" -- they haven't forgotten it at all.
Team has definitely come a long way since the last time they played USF, losing at home.
EJ jokes about Wilder's jersey "Crop tops aren't for guys and he just likes showing off his abs and muscles"
EJ said that being able to run -- as opposed to last year -- is a big luxury. Poses a great threat to opposing defenses.
