Florida State opens conference play by welcoming the Wake Forest Demon Deacons to Bobby Bowden Field at Doak S. Campbell Stadium on Saturday.

At noon the Seminoles will kickoff against Wake Forest and Noles247 will have updates all day long — from the pre-game, to the actual game itself and then of course we will have post-game coverage with comments from players and head coach Jimbo Fisher.

Today is Military Appreciation Day here at Doak. Freshman linebacker Reggie Northrup will lead the team onto the field carrying the American Flag that flew with the 779th Engineer Battalion, Florida Army National Guard, Tallahassee, Fla. while deployed in Iraq.

Couple of notes:
- Since joining the ACC in '92, FSU is 14-6 in conference openers.
- Since 2007, FSU is just 1-4 in conference openers.
- FSU has gained over 500 yards of offense in 7 of its 20 ACC openers.
