Rudolph picks FSU

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - West Palm Beach (Fla.) four-star wide receiver Travis Rudolph publicly announced his intentions to play for Florida State live on ESPN.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver chose Florida State over Alabama and Auburn. He most recently named Alabama his leader, but put the Garnet and Gold hat on when it came to decision time.

"When I first landed on campus, I felt like it was the place to be and I prayed on it and did my homework on it and there’s where I want to be,” Rudolph said during the broadcast.

Rudolph's lead recruiter was FSU linebacker coach Charles Kelly, who also got an assist from receivers coach Lawrence Dawsey.

This season Rudolph caught 63 passes for over 1,200 yards and 15 TD's. Rudolph is the 26th commitment toward FSU's 2014 class.
