Fisher wants Florida State to pursue whatever is best for the University.
Amid all the rumors and discussion of Florida State considering a move away from the Atlantic Coast Conference, head football coach Jimbo Fisher was going to have to be asked at some point.
The Orlando Sentinel's Mike Bianchi caught up with the Seminoles' coach on his booster tour to which Fisher replied:
"There have been no official talks, but I think you always have to look out there to see what's best for Florida State," Fisher told Bianchi. "If that [jumping to the Big 12] is what's best for Florida State, then that's what we need to do."
Fans of the FSU program seemingly remain split on the idea, while it appears the talk of moving to the Big-XII is gaining momentum.
Either way, talks and arguments for either move is sure to continue throughout the summer until some decision - if any decision - is made.
