First Coast (Jacksonville, Fla.) running back Eric Beverly committed to Florida State over a year ago, this weekend he took his official visit to Tallahassee.
“It was great, I had a good time,” said Beverly.
The 5-foot-9, 210-pound running back was hosted by defensive lineman Darious Cummings.
“I had kinda already knew Darious, so that was cool. He’s really funny.”
While on the visit Beverly spent a lot of time with his future position coach, Eddie Gran.
“I got to meet his (Gran) family, talk to him about next year and stuff like that. He’s a good guy,” said Beverly.
Another coach that Beverly got to meet is head strength coach Vic Viloria. Since Beverly is coming off of a serious knee injury, this was one of the most important people for him to meet while on campus.
“Vic is a great guy, he can make you laugh, but is also ready to put you to work.”
Beverly will continue to rehab every day, he tells Noles247 that the knee is, “close to 100%” and he’s been running on it for a few weeks. The trip to Florida State is his final visit.
“I’m going to go home and relax. They fed us so much food, I hope I don’t eat again for a few days!”
