FSU hires Bill Miller to FB staff

Noles247.com can confirm that Florida State has hired Minnesota assistant head coach and linebackers coach Bill Miller for their remaining coaching vacancy.

Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill also confirmed during a press conference on Monday afternoon that Miller was departing the Gophers for Tallahassee.

"He is going to Florida State," Kill said of Miller.

Miller's candidacy for the role was first released by Noles247.com and Pete Roussel of CoachingSearch.com on Monday morning.

Prior to joining the Gophers, Miller most recently coached the linebackers and served as the co-defensive coordinator for Kansas in 2009.
