Napier has strong ties to the Southeast.
Sources indicate to Noles247.com that Colorado State quarterbacks coach Billy Napier is leaving to accept an offensive assistant job with Florida State.
Billy Napier, who served as Clemson's offensive coordinator for two seasons, has joined Jimbo Fisher's staff as an offensive assistant. It is still uncertain what Napier's exact role will be.
When he became Clemson's offensive coordinator in 2009, Napier, then 29, was the youngest person to hold that position in the program's history.
He helped guide the Tigers to the 2009 ACC Atlantic Division title and oversaw an offensive attack that featured future NFL players C.J. Spiller and Jacoby Ford.
Napier spent the 2011 season as a quality control assistant at Alabama before following Jim McElwain to Colorado State, where he served as the Rams' quarterbacks coach.

any of us could coach RB's or Te. Actually even be qb coach in this team b/c Jimbo is the real qb coach. My only point is do not get too hung up with the position group each of the newcomers on offense is assigned. However, given the history I suspect Sanders would go to Rb's-he can sell coaching Jamal Lewis and about 3-4 other pro Rb's s in the 1990's.
If you wanted a asst that was a real qb coach he would be the qb coach-he has actually done it before.
IMO you do not need a named qb coach.
I also agree with KUM. He is an upgrade form either Gran or Craig as is Sanders for that matter.
