I thought Nick O'leary had a pretty breakout season (for FSU TE's). You don't expect TEs to have 40-50 catches in college. NOL had 21 for 200+ and 3 tds. Not too shabby.

For an FSU TE, it is. It wasn't far off Brandon Warren, and we had very little at the WR position that year, IIRC. It is simply tough to pull a legit WR off the field for NOL at times. Maybe if we went "big" more often...

The ball broken out of his hands.......
Jokes aside,
I'm a huge NOL supporter, he needs to get more catches. Especially over the middle and on some short out routes. If he makes more of his blocks and holds onto the ball he will play a lot more. We need him used more in the red zone with Coker/Winston on roll outs. [I don't see Trickett keeping the starting role]
Next year he could catch 27-35 balls (2-3 a game) for over 400 yards and 3-5 TDs.

I'm very confident in that move, but it has not been made official by FSU. I fully expect that to happen soon.

If Coley ever wants to call plays at FSU the move to being a QB Coach was 100% necessary.

Courtney Upshaw was the first pick in the second round. I think Jeremy Pruitt will do great with Sal helping out. The defense will be the same as last year.

I think losing Gran could hurt South Florida recruiting, but other than that overall we improved the staff. I'm anxious to see a more aggressive defense as much as anything. Would be nice to see us shift to a fastbreak offense as well, but I'm not setting myself up for that until I see it. It would make sense with all these receivers we're recruiting.
